Martha Gardner's (Ramer) census results in 1880 state that he was born in MD.

General Notes: Death Records of Hardin Co., OH state that Jacob Ramer birthplace is Richland Co. They didn't write a state, therefore it is assumed Ohio.

Problem is that Richland wasn't a county until 30 Jan 1808. It was Fairfield Co. before that.
